6 steps to get registered

After filling out the contact form and on info@yassco.com.au, you will be contacted by one of our NDIS provider team members who will discuss your eligibility, talk you through the available services you can provide, and answer any questions you may have.

One of the members of our expert NDIS registration team will have a 1 hour meeting with you to discuss the NDIS process and your application. Our team will work with you during that meeting to get a better understanding of the overall process.

We will also discuss information including:

  • Your Organisation’s contact details (which may be your home address initially)
  • Corporate Structure (if you are applying as a company and not a sole trader)
  • Head office/outlets of operation (which may be your home address initially)
  • Details for all key personnel

The most important thing we do during the meeting is discuss the specific registration groups you wish to apply for. Many applicants will have a basic understanding of the types of groups that will be applied for during Step 1, however, we will really drill down and determine the groups that are best for your business.

The team member who takes the meeting with you will become your dedicated YASSCO Consultancy point of contact who is contactable at any time via telephone or email should you have any questions.

After the meeting, our team will help you gather and prepare everything you need to apply to become a registered NDIS provider.

As part of any YASSCO Consultancy engagement, we will typically prepare all documentation required including any amendments or customisation to documents you may require.

This will include up to 100+ policies, procedures,
business plans, organisational charts, registers, HR forms and other supporting documents in some cases. This may be required for you to successfully be approved as a registered NDIS provider where you applying for specialist registration groups. But don’t worry, we will prepare them all for you.

  • We will assist with submission of your initial online application through the NDIS Commission online portal using information gathered from you during Step 1)
  • Within 24 hours of submitting your application, you will receive your “Initial Scope of Audit” to your nominated email address. This will also outline whether you require a “verification” audit, or a “Certification” audit.
  • You will need to provide a copy of your Initial Scope of Audit to get accurate quotes from the available auditors. We have a few auditors we usually tend to work with.

After you have selected and booked an approved Quality Auditor, they will begin to assess your organisation based on the complexity of the services you wish to provide, the size of your organisation and relevant documentation we have helped you prepare.

If you don’t pass the audit, we offer a 100% money back guarantee in relation to our fees*. The NDIS Commission will receive the auditor’s report, take into consideration the outcomes of the audit, and if all is good, register you as an NDIS provider!

Once you have been approved by the NDIS Commission, you will receive your registration number, and be listed on the NDIS website and my place portal under the NDIS registered provider list. You can now begin to work with NDIA Managed, Plan Managed and Self-managed participants.
